About the Course
Inventors of the future wanted! Combining colorful LEGO building elements, easy-to-use hardware, and an intuitive drag-and-drop coding language based on Scratch, SPIKE continuously engages students through playful learning activities to think critically and solve complex problems. SPIKE helps students learn the essential STEAM and 21st century skills needed to become inventors of tomorrow!

I am Laura Link, MAEd, and I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of Missouri–St. Louis and a master's degree from Lindenwood University, where I also earned my gifted certification. With 23 years of experience in St. Louis Public Schools (SLPS), I have transitioned from a classroom teacher to a gifted specialist over the past eight years. Since 2015, I have been teaching various robotics courses and have served as a robotics coach since 2021. Additionally, I have been actively providing professional development in robotics for educators over the past several years.
