About the Course
Each week, we will read a storybook and complete a STEAM challenge that relates to the problem or theme of the book. In this course, students will engage in captivating activities that explore scientific wonders in the natural world and unravel the mysteries of the magical realm using the STEAM approach (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). Through hands-on, interactive lessons, students will employ critical thinking, creativity, and persistence to investigate and explain various phenomena. They will also gain insights into the engineering design process and its application in solving real-world challenges.

Kim Berry
I am Kimberly Berry, M. Ed., and a STEM Certified educator who has taught in the Ferguson Florissant School District for 24 years. I currently teach Kindergarten at Parker Road Primary where I incorporate STEM learning in my classroom. I am a member of our school's "Panthers Who STEM” team that leads our PreK-2 STEM Club and presents at STEM conferences across the area.
