Join us for the STEAM Studio Homeschool Enrichment Friday Courses offered in partnership with DaySpring Arts & Education.

ABOUT THIS PROGRAM:

Classes run for the full school year (9 months) from September 2024 to May 2025.
DaySpring takes breaks for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Spring.
Students will receive a discount of $11/month off of their third and successive classes.
Families will receive a discount of 10% for their second child and 20% for three or more children.
Aftercare is available for an additional fee.

STEAM Robotics Workshop 9:00-10:15 | Ages 7-9 | $95/month

Explore the exciting world of robotics in our STEAM Robotics Workshop, ideal for young learners interested in engineering and programming. Students will use diverse robotics kits such as WeDo Lego, Ozobot, Botley, Sphero, Dash and Dot, and other Lego sets to build models and tackle engaging challenges through drag & drop programming. While building is an integral part of the experience, the primary emphasis is on programming, aiming to enhance problem-solving skills and creativity. Join us to develop critical technical skills and bring your robotic creations to life in a fun and interactive environment.

Engineering & Robotics 10:15-11:30 | Ages 10-13 | $95/month

Dive into the world of advanced robotics and engineering where you'll put your creativity and problem-solving skills to the test. This class challenges students to design and build machines that solve real-world problems using a variety of robotics. Participants will face new and exciting challenges, making this course perfect for both newcomers and returning students who wish to continue developing their skills. Through hands-on, interactive lessons, students will employ critical thinking, creativity, and persistence to investigate and explain various phenomena. They will also gain insights into the engineering design process and its application in solving real-world challenges. Join us to experience the cutting-edge of robotics and engineering, and take your first step towards becoming a future innovator.

Mad Scientists Club 12:00-1:15 | Ages 7-9 | $85/month

Science really is fun! It is all around us...and even in us! Using hands-on experiments, activities and projects we will explore the world around us! We will investigate many different topics in science including physics, earth science, chemistry, weather, animal science, plant science, the human body and much more! Topics will be covered in interactive classes that incorporate hands-on activities in a way sure to engage and excite!

Magic School Bus Science 1:15-2:30 | Ages 5-6 | $85/month

We’ve put together a BUSFUL of fun science activities and experiments, all about your favorite topics from The Magic School Bus. Your child will explore and learn alongside Arnold, Ralphie, Liz and The Friz. Students will read the books, watch some of the videos and create their own adventures as they experiment with the same topics in the stories. This is a perfect class for your young child who is full of imagination, wonder and creativity.

Young Scientists 2:30-3:45 | Ages 10-13 | $85/month

Let this fun science class spark your interest! Using hands-on experiments, activities and projects we will explore many different topics in science including physics, earth science, chemistry, weather, animal science, plant science, the human body and much more!
